The Classes
Yin Yoga for Self Love
Compassion, acceptance, patience towards yourself are key attitudes to embody as you recover from Burnout. Burnout has most likely occurred because you didn’t listen to your body’s limitations, your intuition and personal boundaries, as well as your own needs and desires.
Now is the chance to rebuild your relationship with yourself, so that you never end up in a situation like this again. Forgive yourself and learn to love all of you unconditionally, even in your darkest moments.
Morning Yoga
Start your day off right with movement, stretches and setting your intention for a new day. No matter what happens, know that day by day, step by step, you are moving towards a healthier and happier life. Harness the power of positive thinking to move through your day with peace and optimism.
Yoga for Anxiety
Anxiety causes panic and stress responses to worrying thoughts. Using breath awareness and postures that help to relax the body, this Yin practice will guide you into the present moment and calm feelings of anxiousness. Remember, stick to the facts of the present rather than to fears and predictions of the future.
Yoga for Grounding
After ignoring our bodies’ warning signs for so long, it is important to re-establish awareness and deep connection with your physical being. This class encourages you to feel into your body as you move gently while breathing mindfully. You are an organic being affected by the cycles of nature, it’s time to tune into that ancient wisdom.
Yoga for Energy
Even though your body is deeply fatigued during Burnout, it is important to keep stimulating energy with gentle movement. Daily walks and this slow flow class are great examples.
In Yoga for Energy you will move slowly with expansive movements and backbends to encourage more active energy flow throughout your body. The more you practice this, the better you will feel over time.
Yin Yoga for Sleep
This is a slow and deep Yin practice you can do before bed to prepare your body for a night of restful and rejuvenating sleep. You will need a mat, a wall and a blanket for this class.
Yoga Nidra for Healing
Yoga Nidra, or ‘yogic sleep’, is a powerful guided meditation that relaxes your body and guides your mind into a state of restorative brainwaves. In this deep healing state your body is able to repair itself in amazing ways using the power of rejuvenating rest.
This class can be done at any time of day and can be done on your mat, your couch or your bed. I recommend making yourself comfortable by using a blanket to keep your body warm.
